I have owned and lived with dogs all my life, and started training and competing in obediece at the age of 15. I have also shown dogs at championship level shows. I am proud to have sucessfully completed practical courses with both Jan Fennell and John Rogerson, with hands-on experience at Battersea Dogs Home. I and have adopted many of their techniques and concepts in my training and behaviour work, which utilises positive, reward based techniques.
It’s a dogs life 'Home From Home' services were started as a result of the difficulty that we had finding a dog care service for our own dog. We recognised that finding a service where the carers primary objective was the care of a small number of dogs in a home environment, by people with a good awareness of individual behaviour and groups of dogs, was a hard task.
